Michael Sorum, DVM MVetSc, DABVP (Equine) ISELP Certified
Dr. Sorum has the prestigious ISELP certification! He has been in practice for over 30 years, treating equine lameness and performance issues. He is also Board Certified in Equine Practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. He continues to update his skills by attending continuing education courses around the country and abroad so that he can better serve his clients and patients.
Diana Pastrana, DVM, ISELP Member
Dr. Pastrana is currently completing the curriculum to earn her ISELP certification. She is an Arizona native who earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. Growing up, she competed in horse shows in a variety of disciplines. This has helped her to understand the challenges faced by owners of performance horses.
Why it is important to your performance horse
ISELP (International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) is an Educational Association focused on lameness in the equine athlete. The goal of ISELP is to provide contemporary knowledge and techniques in the continually evolving field of equine locomotor analysis to better prepare the equine clinician to understand and manage lameness conditions in the equine athlete.
